We know there’s a demon that was tormenting Katie and Micah, and eventually possessed Katie, but WHY is this demon tormenting them? Paranormal Activity 2, by the end, sheds some light. There’s a lot of character development in this film because it’s providing backstory/explanation for the events that unfolded in the original.
At one point, he even claims she’s overreacting/making things up in her head due to postpartum hormones. Paranormal Activity 2 is not the one with the hot mom it’s the forgettable one that’s kind of a snoozer where Brian Boland plays a total dick who refuses to believe his wife that there’s something creepy going on. I said to my partner, “I signed on to do a 10 Years Ago review of Paranormal Activity 2!” He was like, “Is that the one with the hot mom?” and I was like, “Yeah!” When we sat down to watch the movie, I was startled.
